Dana Teboe is a native of Miami, Florida and earned his Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Music from the University of Miami. He moved to Maine in 2002 because his wife is from Maine and they wanted their young daughters to grow up with the same quality of life that his wife experienced there as a child. Dana has played on more than 400 commercially released albums, soundtracks and commercials. Some of the artists he has recorded with are Vanessa Williams, Gloria Estefan, Elton John, Regina Belle, Arturo Sandoval, Bobby Caldwell, Jon Secada, Nestor Torres, Duffy Jackson, Ricky Martin, Julio Iglesias, Placido Domingo , Prince, KC & The Sunshine Band, Lionel Hampton, Celia Cruz, Christina Aguilera, Jose Feliciano, Yanni, Shakira, and Jaco Pastorius among many others. He has performed with dozens of pop, jazz and classical artists. Among them: Barry Manilow, Stephanie Mills, Julio Iglesias, Tony Bennet, Natalie Cole, Johnny Mathis, Roberta Flack ,Ben Vereen, Melissa Manchester, Gladys Knight, Paul Anka, Sammy Davis Jr. , Barry Gibb, Manhattan Transfer, Marvin Hamlisch, Bob James, Michael Brecker, Chuck Mangione, Arturo Sandoval, Tom Scott, Toots Thielman, Bob Mintzer, Chick Corea, Nat Adderly, Diane Shur, London Philharmonia with “The Three Tenors”, South Florida Symphony, Philharmonic Orchestra of Florida, American Ballet Theater. As lead trombonist, Dana has toured with Frank Sinatra, Gloria Estefan, Jon Secada, Lou Rawls and most recently from 2003 - 2005 he completed three Yanni tours. Additionally, Dana has done hundreds of Broadway show performances including Lion King, Thoroughly Modern Millie, Chicago, The Full Monty, The King and I, A Chorus Line, South Pacific among many others.
